IBM announces the End of Service of the Lotus Enterprise Integrator, Notes, and Domino 7.0.x series in April 2011.

In accordance with the standard IBM Software Group release management process and our commitment to continuous improvement of our product line, IBM Lotus software announced that effective April 30, 2011, Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino server releases 7.0.x and IBM Lotus Enterprise Integrator (LEI) 7.0.x will be retired from service. The 8.0.x and 8.5.x code streams for Notes, Domino, and LEI remain in service.

7.0.4 Fix Pack 2 is the last Maintenance Release for the 7.0.x release. Customers who encounter issues in 7.0.x that are not addressed in 7.0.4 Fix Pack 2 will need a service extension to open a PMR. For those customers where upgrading is not an option, a PMR can be escalated for fix evaluation. A fix is not guaranteed and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to determine if a fix can be safely deployed. Any pervasive issues that impact many customers will be addressed in an Interim Fix. To check the status of 7.0.4 Fix Packs, please refer to the Notes/Domino Fix List web page.
