A index is an internal filing system that is uses to build the list of documents to display in a database view or folder. All ini keys which will affect indexes can be found in this section.

Determines whether to create a FT index of a new replicate database by default.
Updaters
This setting controls the number of Update tasks started when the Domino server is started.
Update_Access_Frequency
Will reduce the frequency of updates to rarely accessed views
Update_Disable_Fulltext
disable fulltext indexing for the update server task
Update_Fulltext_Thread
Set this variable to 1 to use a separate thread to do full text indexing.
Update_Idle_Time
Changes the amount of time the indexer waits between database operations
Update_Note_Minimum
This setting controls how many changes must exist for a view update to occur.
Update_No_Fulltext
Turns off full text indexing on a server.
Update_No_Views
Will prevent automatic index updates via UPDATE
Update_Suppression_Limit
Use this variable to limit the size (number of requests) in the Update task's deferred requests queue.
Update_Suppression_Time
Specifies the delay time between full text index and view updates, even if immediate indexing is scheduled as a server task.

Specifies the directory where temporary files will be created for optimized view rebuilds.
