Detailed information for the notes.ini Keyword:

CrashLimits

Short Description: Set the max. crashes a server could have in the given timeframe.

Description:

This Notes.ini entry set the max. crashes a server could have in the given timeframe. This entry controls how often could the Fault recovery restart the server.

In the notes.ini file, you should see the following parameter:

    crashlimits= x y

    (where x represents the number of crashes and y represents the time frame)

Note:

If this parameter does not exist, fault recovery will not work. This parameter is only necessary when "Automatically restart server after fault/crash" does not work.

If the parameter does not exist, try making a trivial change to the Fault Recovery section of the Server document (under the Basics tab), then save the document. This can fix the issue so that upon server restart the notes.ini file will contain the crashlimits parameter. This requires a server restart to take effect.

Syntax:
CrashLimits=x y

Example:
CrashLimits=1

UI equivalent:
There is no kown UI setting for this notes.ini variable. But you can specify this setting in the notes.ini settings tab of the configuration settings document.
