Detailed information for the notes.ini Keyword:

DbDir_Refresh_Interval

Short Description: Time between scans of the data directory.

Description:

Reduces database directory scan frequency.

Domino periodically scans your data directory for new files or files that have
been removed. By default, this scan happens every 15 minutes. If you have a
lot of files in your data directory, or a complicated directory structure,
traversing the directory can take a significant amount of CPU. You can reduce
the overhead by increasing the refresh interval. Keep in mind, however, that it
will take Domino longer to recognize new files.

0=Disabled (Never scan).

Note:

Use DBDir_Cache_Save_to_DB_Interval and DBDir_Directory_Scan_Interval on Domino 8.5 or higher.
