Short Description: Fixed a problem where if a wildcard "Non-adjacent domain document" exists, then it is incorrectly used for routing Internet emails by SMTP
SPR# RSCR59GL8G - Fixed a problem where if a wildcard "Non-adjacent domain document" exists, then it is incorrectly used for routing Internet emails by SMTP. This is fixed with the new Notes.ini parameter "RouterLimitNRPCRouteForInternetDomains=1". It should be enabled on servers that have SMTP External enabled. Note that this fix is only in effect when SMTP External is enabled. The result is that for domains that contain a ".", it will stop looking for an NRPC route, and hence not find the wildcard Non-adjacent domain document. That addresses the primary issue, having to create hundreds of Non-adjacent domain documents to avoid internet mail being routed to a non-adjacent domain. Warning: if you have any Notes domains that contain a "." and that aren't internet domains, the result will be a no route found error. This has been fixed in 6.5.1 and 5.0.13.
RouterLimitNRPCRouteForInternetDomains=0 / 1
There is no kown UI setting for this notes.ini variable. But you can specify this setting in the notes.ini settings tab of the configuration settings document.
