Detailed information for the notes.ini Keyword:

EnableLTREquations

Short Description: Added the Notes.ini parameter "EnableLTREquations=1" to the Hebrew language version.

Description:
You use the Hebrew version of Lotus Notes® client, which means the default text direction is right-to-left. When you type only numbers and spaces in a document such as a mail message in Notes R5 client, it behaves like English text (left-to-right). For example, if you type "123", several spaces and then "456", it looks like this:
123 456

If you type the same data into a Notes 6.x and above, you see this:

456 123

The editor behaves differently, but the problem is not just in the editor. The same document looks different if you open it for reading in 5.x and more recent releases.

Answer
Adding these parameters to the Notes.ini file on the client workstation corrects the problem:

EnableBiDiNotes=1
EnableLTREquations=1
DisplayBidiRun=1

SPR# MLAT68DRS5 - Added the Notes.ini parameter "EnableLTREquations=1" to the Hebrew language version. This regression was introduced in 6.0.2.
